Ecuador:  From the Amazon, to the Andes, to the Galapagos, We Have Everything

For over 30 years our team at Equinox has brought students, volunteers, and normal folks to our incredible country.  Our Spanish School can get your language skills up to scratch, our experience packages are tailored to learning as much as possible about you or your group's specific interests, and our volunteering partners can get you involved in the local community.

With it's phenomenal ecological diversity, fascinating culture and history, adventure sports, relaxing beaches, and volcanic hot springs, Ecuador has everything in a small package.  Let us handle the logistics of your trip including transportation, lodging, classes, and activities, so you can spend your time enjoying the journey.

Whether you want to study Spanish, see wildlife, volunteer with an indigenous community, scuba dive in the Galapagos, summit a 6,263 m (20,547 ft) volcano, learn to surf, or just relax, we would be delighted to help you.

We have had such great experiences with Equinox Spanish, that we have decided to double the time of our next program to 2 weeks.
I highly recommend working with Mr. Pastor and his team.

Who Are We?

Cesar Pastor, a homegrown Quiteño, opened Equinox Spanish School in 1991, and gradually expanded its offerings to include educational tours, volunteering, and more.  The Spanish School itself closed during the pandemic, but we have continued to bring large and small groups to Ecuador, and are thrilled to reopen the school in 2024!  We are a family business, and our team includes Cesar's daughter Carolina Pastor, and Caroline Griswold, a North Carolina native who has been in Ecuador since 2017.
